Great 1934 Montgomery Ward Catalog Finds

I recently found a 1934 Montgomery Ward Spring and Summer catalog and shared the fabric illustrations here. Today I want to share some fun finds from the Wards catalog. I realized when looking through this catalog that a lot of the items I like and sell are from this era.

So here is some 1934 Montgomery Ward Spring and Summer Catalog Finds!

I have always wanted a Gladstone bag. You read about them in old novels.

There is something about old trunks that always gets me. I would love the wardrobe trunks.

More fun luggage!

I love this set of suitcases! I wish I could order a set!

I would like to also order a Tourist Jug, a Ranger Jug and a Thermos!

What about these wonderful folding chairs and stools! I have some I am working on just like them!

What about these wonderful folding chairs and stools! I have some stools  just like them with that great striped fabric!

Great Eastman Kodaks and cameras. I would like one of each please!

Great bedding and drapes! Do I need to say more.

I love the colors and styles from the 1930s! My mom was 2 when this catalog was published.

Love these colorful anklets.

Great gym shoes and Skips. I think the Skips are cute!

This page was pretty interesting. It shows the shoes chosen by girls from different colleges.

Your three feet? They were made to fit your “sitting feet”, “walking feet” and “standing feet”.

These boots would have been bought by my relatives. They would have needed the “hard riding” cowboy boots and definitely the “logger boots”.

These styles and fabrics are awesome!

These fashions are great. I especially like the aprons – 3 for 88¢! I will take a dozen, please.

I hope you have enjoyed a few illustrations from the 1934 Wards catalog. Watch for future posts about women’s fashions and more!

I want to thank Marci for featuring my granddaughter’s sign over at Tuesdays with a Twist last week. If you missed the post, here it is. Lana was pretty excited to be featured. I see a future blogger in the making.

Thank you for taking the time to read this far! I really appreciate it and love to read comments.

Wishing each of you a great journey in your hunt for vintage items and make sure to have fun along the way! Remember you are making memories!

Wishing you many blessings in 2016,
