Krylon Chalky Finish Spray Paint is a good alternative to chalk paint and is great for a quick project. The paint has a nice matte finish and is easy to use. I want to share with you three quick-overs that I did using this spray paint. Below are 3 previous posts that I wrote about this paint and how to use it. It has great coverage. All three makeovers only took one coat of paint. You do use this spray paint differently than other paints as you hold the can closer.

Today’s Quick-Overs using Krylon Chalky Finish Paint
Now to todays three quick-over projects! I had 2 baskets and a tray that were in dire need of makeovers. The baskets were just worn looking and the tray was just hideous! The tray has a wooden base and wicker sides.
This tray had been spray painted red and was just not appealing. I used Krylon Chalky Finish is Paver Gray for this project. After it was painted, it looked a little plain. So I did my favorite transfer method using wax paper. The tutorial is here. I chose the vintage grocery sign from the Graphics Fairy.
I think that the tray is a great improvement over the red. Next were the 2 baskets. I grabbed a can of Krylon Chalky Finish spray paint in Morning Sky. I had bought it awhile back but hadn’t used this color yet. I love it! I am not a blue fan but this color is rich!
If you haven’t tried this paint, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. All opinions are my own and I am not compensated for using this paint. I just like it! All three items just needed one quick coat of the paint to transform them. What do you think about the makeovers?
Thank you for taking the time to read this far! I really appreciate it and love to read comments.
Wishing each of you a great journey in your hunt for vintage items and make sure to have fun along the way! Remember you are making memories!
Wishing you many blessings in 2016,
